Individual Therapy
Dr. Efron is available to provide psychotherapy to adults age 18 and older. She tailors her interventions to the individual’s unique needs, relying largely on cognitive behavioral and dynamic approaches. Goals of therapy include symptom reduction, relapse prevention, improved quality of life and greater self-understanding. Dr. Efron works with individuals facing a range of difficult issues, such as:

Parent Training
Dr. Efron is available to meet with parents to assist them in managing their children’s challenging behaviors. Her approach relies heavily on the existing research base in this content area, and incorporates the experiences and expertise that each individual parent has with their particular child. Parent training sessions are often recommended for parents of children with ADHD or behavioral problems. These sessions can also be very useful for parents of typically developing children. Sessions are individually tailored to meet the needs of each family.

Clinical Supervision
Dr. Efron has been providing clinical supervision consistently since 1995. She is available to provide clinical supervision to early career psychologists seeking licensure as well as to established clinicians treating particularly challenging clients. Her approach to supervision is collaborative. She generally conceptualizes cases within cognitive behavioral and dynamic frameworks.
